Logo and brand design for LEVEL 1, Worthing.

LEVEL 1 brings together the best of Worthing and Sussex based leisure, food and drink businesses in a unique experience with incredible views. The site is next to a 1960’s modernist car park so design influence was taken from car park chevrons to create an entire brand system.

Once the design was created 59deluxe also hand painted the site in the distinctive style.

Creation of brand and style guidelines for the new Sea Lanes complex in Brighton.

Sea Lanes will be ‘powered by’ South Downs Leisure so I had to create a combined logo and style package that works for both brands. Logo variations and a a variety of brand elements were supplied.

Updated and amended the existing logo and created and new brand style and colourway. Worked closely with the owners to reassure them that the new brighter looking brand would be the correct route to take for a beach volleyball location. Created brand guidelines, new signage accross the site, new apparel as well as a completely new website.

Helped create a clean, crisp design focussing on the ampersand to reflect the company name and that the company offers printing & more.

A number of brand assets were created from business cards to letterheads to bespoke envelopes and van livery. All the assets incorporate the ampersand logo in some capacity with particular attention paid to different print finishes.

Photographer Tom Oldham wanted to document cross-fit athletes during their training in Iceland sand was looking for something to document the project.

To support the stunning images and documentary film, 59deluxe created a limited edition promotional printed magazine. The idea was to simply create a ‘beautiful thing’ to showcase some of the best shots and outline the backstory.

Stored in its own bespoke embossed outer wallet, the digitally printed magazine was thread-sewn and had spot varnish on the cover.

New logo and re-brand for Simpson Electrical based in Worthing.

Simpson Electrical brand had not been updated for 30 years so were in need of a bit of a refresh. However, they also had a very recognisable fleet of silver vans, that although had a dated looking logo, were well known in the Sussex area. 59deluxe therefore attempted to create equally distinctive looking van livery to maintain the brand recognition.

Design of Technical report for WWF UK.

The report contained a variety of graphs and data tables that had to be re-formatted in the brand style, along with requirement for maps and diagrams. Imagery was used throughout to break up the potentially ‘dry’ look of the report.

Logo and brand style for “The Truly Immersive, 4D Virtual Reality Experience” in Birmingham.

Entire brand style was supplied including colours, typefaces, along with digital and printed asset guidelines, as well as ideas for on screen animations and exterior styling.

Logo and brand design for fine dining restaurant based in the old Coleman’s mustard seed ‘store’ at Stoke Mill, Norwich.

Report design for WWF International (Switzerland).

Augustus Brandt are a bespoke furniture and antiques dealership based in Petworth. They were interested in updating their logo and monogram but also creating a specific identity across their outlets and communications.

Created an updated logo and monogram, as well as brand guidelines incorporating colour palettes and typography. Also commissioned a bespoke florentine paper that was then digitised and used across a range of brand assets including bespoke gift wrap.

Overhaul the look and feel of the existing A4-sized fundraising pack which was dated and cumbersome.

Resized the pack to an A5 postal envelope which holds a fundraising booklet and supporting materials. Not only did this reduce postage and materials costs but the envelope also transforms into a panda-shaped collection box.

New modern branding for Brighton Hove and Sussex 6th form College, in particular a flexible logo with great standout.

Working on behalf of L&S Printing, we provided a complete visual rebrand incorporating brand guidelines and a suite of assets. We created a logo type and accompanying illustration which is based on the latin from the Brighton crest - ‘Between Downs and Sea We Flourish’. These elements combined to create a logo for use across print/web/social media.

Visually-appealing but audience appropriate presentation of the WWF-UK Annual Report.

Working within the WWF-UK brand guidelines a design was created that was originally destined only for online use but proved so popular that it appeared in print as well.

Provided a range of services from illustrative infographics, to printed literature, to retail elements. 59Deluxe also worked to created in-store promotional animations.

Helped create a brand style for in-store and social media recruitment animations.

A commemorative book for Virgin Atlantic documenting the launch of their new flight from London to Atlanta on one of their new 747 Dreamliners. The book features photography by Tom Oldham of the launch event which included an on-flight gig performed by Rudimental and Gorgon City.

Helped to design a book and created outer packaging on behalf of L&S Printing who produced the final piece.

WHAT THEY WANTED:
Maitland Ltd are a well-established chartered accountants and long term client of 59Deluxe. They were looking to update their brand to attract a younger clientele.

We created a new sleek look and feel to brand assets such as business cards, letterheads and website.

To give away one million pints of Brewdog’s Punk IPA as part of a UK-wide sales and marketing campaign.

WHAT WE DID:
59deluxe were asked to create the look and feel of all the campaign promotional items which included an eight page page roll-fold leaflet to be distributed across every BrewDog bar and a suite of infographics for online and social media use.
